All of us here are a multi media production company with a roster of directors and artists whose work spans animation, mixed media and live action.

We remember Barney Richard (1977-2023) the co-founder of All of us here.

We spoke to Founder of All of us here, Isabella Parish, about celebrating fearless storytelling and how to engage with the next generation of creative talent...

What do the Young Arrows mean to you?

I think beyond just platforming new talent and new ideas, it gives us a time to come together and remind ourselves why we do this work in the first place. It's time to come together and say - “Yes, this is what we’re about”. Even beyond the young arrows, more widely in the advertising and digital media world, we get to say: “we want to see new and inventive stories being told, fearlessly creative ideas being realised by so many unique talents coming together, this is what we want to protect and strive for.”

What’s the best part about sponsoring the Young Arrows?

It’s incredible getting to platform emerging creativity, brand new ideas and hardworking young people. The absolute best part though is seeing creativity that really breaks the mould - whether it’s by spectacle, ingenuity or just by being plain weird - these original points of view are what keeps the industry moving. And that’s what we want to celebrate with the Bolt Award. Barney embodied fearless creativity, fun and always pushing boundaries, with this award we want to keep original storytelling at the forefront of the industry.

What do you think are the most important skills/qualities that young professionals need when starting out in the advertising industry?

Just go full force into whatever you do, look out for any available opportunities and give everything you have to even the tiniest gigs. Every little job can teach you something and everyone around you has valuable expertise. And don’t be afraid to go for opportunities that look daunting/out of your comfort zone - those moments of intensity when you’re figuring out how to make a job work under wild circumstances are what really show you what you’re capable of.

What are you most looking forward to for the rest of the year creatively?

The increase in animated commercial gigs has been so heartening, especially stop frame animation. Work that really attends to the craft and the patience of the art, especially in an era of AI prompts and immediate gratification, is a real light in the dark. It's very hopeful to see so many people enjoying traditional animation instilled with real intention and heart.

Thank you to All of us here for creating and sponsoring The Bolt Award.
