Clearcast are your advertising partners, from script to screen. They’re best known for clearing ads. In the UK, broadcasters mustn’t show ads that are misleading, harmful or offensive, so before they can be aired, Clearcast check that they comply with UK code rules.

As well as this, they offer a range of optional Clearance and Delivery services, designed to make it easier for agencies, advertisers and broadcasters to get their ads to air. Choose fromfaster feedback, copy clearance guidance (out of office hours, on set, at pitch stage) or help with tricky claims. Or, choose for them to subtitle your ad, deliver it to the broadcasters or to take care of all of the admin needed, start to finish. Additionally, book a place on one of their award-winning Training courses, for tips and need-to-know information. As a key part of the TV advertising landscape, Clearcast are keen to be a positive influence in the industry. A particular goal of theirs is to encourage people to make #AdsForAll, by adding Subtitles or Audio Description to ads. This improves accessibility, allowing many more people the opportunity to engage with TV ads.

To raise awareness, Clearcast have partnered with British Arrows for the second year in a row, working with them behind the scenes to make the Awards show as accessible as possible. As well as sponsoring the Charity & Public Service award, they’ve provided live captions for the evening and worked with the team to include BSL interpreters.
