Head of Creative Production and Film, RKCR/Y&R
To be judged and recognised by our peers at this level is something we all strive for if we truly care about what we do. Britain’s film craft remains at the forefront of global advertising, and to deliver at this level in this market truly has to be a milestone in one’s career. Recognition through the British Arrows Craft awards allows us to truly perform on this global platform.
Jody Allison has been a producer since birth. The daughter of a prolific 70s commercial director, she came into advertising in her own right 24 years ago. She rose through the ranks quickly and became a producer within nine months of arriving at her first agency. Agencies have included McCanns, Bates Dorland, St Lukes, BBH and for the last nine years full time at RKCR/Y&R, where she is currently Head of Creative Production & Film. Jody has also spent time on the production company side, with 3 years at Godman Films in the early 2000s and a few freelance stints in various other production companies. Commercial TV production is her passion, delivering at the highest level is essential. To achieve that high level it’s all about the craft: making it as good as it can possibly be and rising to the challenges we all face in the modern multi media world. How can it be better? Good enough is not good enough.
