Creating great work is the combination of idea and craft, brought together through hard work, but you can't have one without the other.

An acclaimed VFX Supervisor, Tom has led teams on some of our London studio's most iconic commercials work. He cut his teeth working on music videos for up-and-coming directors, winning the B+ Best Young VFX Artist award in 2003, as well as the MTV Music Video Award for Best Visual Effects for Queens of the Stone Age, Go with the Flow.

Since joining MPC in 2004 Tom has built an award-winning portfolio of work, including the iconic Cadbury’s Gorilla, Three's viral hit Moonwalking Pony, which went on to collect Gold in CGI and VFX at the British Arrows Craft Awards. Based in our London studio Tom works across a huge range of advertising productions and music promos, having worked with some of the best directors in the business, including James Rouse, Dom and Nick, Tom Tagholm and Juan Cabrell.

Tom frequently collaborates with director Dougal Wilson, and led the 2D VFX on many of his iconic commercials including Ikea, Lurpak, Channel 4 and John Lewis. He led the teams on the much-loved John Lewis Christmas films Montythe Penguin and Busterthe Boxer which were awarded Cannes Grand Prix in film craft and Outstanding VFX at the 2017 VES Awards respectively. Adding to this he led the team on Channel 4's iconic Paralympics spot, We're the Superhumans which won Commercial of the Year at the British Arrows and was awarded the ultimate accolade at the Cannes Lions 2017 - the Film Grand Prix.

Tom continues his partnership with Dougal Wilson with his recent work on the John Lewis spot Bohemian Rhapsody and the iPhone X ad Unlock for Apple.
