A film without craft is a concept without impact
Anna is co-MD and Executive Producer at Iconoclast London, which opened its doors 4 years ago. Prior to this, Anna has held other senior level production roles including Executive Producer at Caviar London, and Pulse Films; Deputy Head of Production at Stink for many years, as well as Head of Production at Flynn Productions where she cut her teeth with management of many UK music videos in early 2000s.
Whilst at Iconoclast, Anna has overseen extensive campaigns for Wrangler, H&M, Apple, Haig and Beats, produced a music video/art piece for Kanye West (directed by Steve McQueen) which was installed at LACMA museum of art, and produced the BBC2 trailblazing TV series Black is The New Black, portraits from which are now featuring in a National Portrait Gallery exhibition, going live October 2019.
Historically, Anna produced some of the most successful advertising campaigns (O2 Be More Dog, Diesel Island), and music videos of the decade (Kanye West Power), which have won a slew of awards from Gold Lions to MVAs, and has filmed all over the globe with A-list directors. In 2015 she turned her hand to producing independent features and shorts – expanding her craft with Indy cult horror films, to most recently being the Executive Producer on the feature documentary One More Time With Feeling featuring Nick Cave, which was nominated for a Grammy 2018, and premiered at the 73rd Venice Film festival.
On top of producing content for all mediums, Anna nurtures and grows directorial and writing talent.
She has a determined eye to ensure the craft of all the films she produces is the most boundary pushing it can be – whether concentrating on the aesthetic, the narrative, or the cultural relevance.
Anna has the current honour being one of 25 industry leaders to sit on the APA council.
