Good craft is the result of good ideas.

A protégé of Ridley Scott’s commercial production company RSA in London; Alex began shooting music promos and commercials in 1996.

Commercial brands have included Levi’s, Axe, Audi and Apple for directors Traktor, Rupert Sanders, Olivier Gondry and Fleur and Manu.  Alex has collaborated with directors Chris Cunningham, Jonathan Glazer and Jean-Baptiste Mondino on music promos for Squarepusher, Richard Ashcroft and Madonna, and most recently worked with Dom and Nic on a new The Chemical Brothers project. 

Alongside this Alex has shot various features, short films and art installation projects including Chris Cunningham’s Flex for the Apocalypse exhibition at the Royal Academy of Art in 2000 and Sean Ellis’s Oscar nominated short Cashback in 2006.

More recently Alex has teamed up with Jonathan Glazer again for his Channel 4 idents, Sam Brown for his Lloyds For Your Next Step commercial and Frederic Planchon for Vodafone’s Kiss.
