Managing Director & Head of Production, Bridle Production
Creating a great piece of work is no one person’s task. Celebrating idea and craft in one ceremony rewards all those who were involved to create the work – we do it together.
I started my advertising life at BMP as a Junior Art Buyer, way back in the Webster days, when Frank Budgen was a Creative and Mary was the tea lady.
I moved on to Lambie-Nairn and then to Leagas Delaney where I really cut my teeth on commercials. Those mental days were to teach me lessons I still remember today. I worked on some amazing Adidas projects and, probably my favourite, BBC Perfect Day - yes it was that long ago!
My path then led me to BBH where I was fortunate enough to complete my rigorous training on brands such as Lynx, Audi and Levi’s, under the eagle eye of the late and great Frances Royle.
A call from Tony and Kim swept me away to Wieden+Kennedy London, where I remained as Head of TV for nearly 7 years. I built a wonderful department around me and made some amazing work with them; Impossible Dream probably being my most memorable.
I started Bridle Production in January 2012. My ambition was for it to sit somewhere between an in-house TV department and freelance, supplying a 360-production department you can dip into when you need. We work with small agencies, brands and anyone who has a great idea, on a project basis. We bring seasoned experience (see above) and a fresh outlook and versatility to make great work. We’ve partnered on incredible projects with some amazing people all around the world, and look forward to many more.
