Sarah Tildesley

Head of Creative and Design, The Jamie Oliver Group

CRAFT ARROWS are a recognition of skill and passion within an industry that demands so much dedication from the people who work in it. It's an acknowledgement of achievement from people who truly understand and appreciate exactly what's been given to get the job done.

Sarah studied photography at university and after graduating she began working as a catering assistant, touring alongside the likes of Radiohead, Oasis and Elton John. This is where her love of the food industry first began and what lead her to embark on a career packed with unforgettable food experiences.

Since 2002, Sarah landed food-styling roles on many productions, working on films including Sweeney Todd, Atonement, Batman and Harry Potter. She continued working for an eclectic range of clients in TV and editorial for the next few years. Her advertising clients included many of the UK's leading food and retail brands; picking up a Craft Arrows award in 2006 for her work on a Skoda commercial that saw her and her team create a life-sized car using cake.

After working on a number of Jamie Oliver’s TV shows, books and other projects, Sarah took a full-time position with Jamie in 2009 as Head of Creative and Design. Sarah now heads up his art department and works across food styling, production, graphic design, interior and product design, as well as her first love, photography.

Aside from heading up Jamie Oliver’s creative, Sarah owns and runs a film/photography studio and creative office in Islington with her photographer husband, Sam. Paper Mill Studios is three years old this year.
