I’m proud to be a Director of the British Arrows because it celebrates advertising created in the most powerful genre (film), and the most effective advertising medium (television); because it celebrates advertising that moves, entertains and educates millions of people every day; because that advertising is produced by the most brilliant and skilled community of creative people anywhere in the world and, probably most importantly of all, because the award ceremony is quite simply THE most fun night out you will have in the entire advertising year. So, all in all, not a bad gig.

Funded by the commercial TV companies, Thinkbox is the marketing body for commercial TV in the UK, in all its forms. Thinkbox works with the marketing community with a single ambition: to help advertisers and agencies get the best out of today’s TV.

Prior to joining Thinkbox in 2007 Lindsey had roles at advertising agencies including McCann Erickson and J Walter Thompson, working on some of the industry’s biggest clients and most famous TV-advertised brands.

In the last few years, Thinkbox has won a host of awards for its research proving TV’s unparalleled effectiveness, and in 2013 was named Media 360’s Industry Body of the Decade. Meanwhile, its TV advertising featuring Harvey the dog continues to be popular with TV viewers.

Lindsey is President of WACL (Women in Advertising and Communications London), a Fellow of the Marketing Society and a member of the Marketing Group of Great Britain. She is also on the steering committee of the Rank Fellowship whose mission is to encourage leadership for the benefit of society. In 2014 she featured in the Sunday Times’ “Debrett’s 500”, a list of the most influential people in the UK.

When not working, or watching telly with her family, she plays for Weston Park Ladies, in the North London Netball League.
