Born in sunny Bordeaux, Laurent first came to England on a disastrous school trip when he was 10, and subsequently swore to never set foot again in rainy Blighty. Fifteen years later, fate would eventually bring him back, this time to Wondrous Watford, where he met his now creative partner, Aidan McClure.
Together they would earn their first industry accolades, from best student team in the country, to AMV BBDO’s employees of the year, representing the UK at the Cannes Young Lions competition in 2009.
In eight years, they have won more than 100 awards.
Promoted Creative Director at Adam&EveDDB in 2012, Laurent is currently looking after Volkswagen UK, Colman’s, John Smith’s, Amstel, the AA and McCain. Laurent has judged at D&AD, Campaign BIGs, Le Club des Directeurs Artistiques and Creative Circle.
The first day of spring will see the dawn of his next chapter: Executive Creative Director at BBC Creative, the new in house creative agency set to promote the British Institution’s image and output.
