John is the founder and managing director of Finger Music. He started his career in advertising selling airtime for ITV before joining MPC in 1993. He spent 8 years there as a post production producer of music videos and commercials working with all the major record labels and advertising agencies in London. In 2001, John left post production behind to start Finger Music providing bespoke music composition and music supervision to his advertising clients.
Finger Music went on to become one of London’s leading music houses collecting numerous industry awards along the way, including some arrows. Finger Music soon expanded to the US and more recently Amsterdam. They are also known for an intimate industry gathering in Cannes. Recent campaigns include Guinness, John Lewis, Virgin, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Nissan and PokerStars.
